ポイント

・ビグアナイド薬はインスリン抵抗性を改善しインスリン分泌に影響を与えない．

・基本的に肥満を助長しない．

・重大な副作用として乳酸アシドーシスがあり，乳酸アシドーシスのハイリスク患者には禁忌である．

・糖代謝以外の面にも有益な効果があるとされ，特に大血管障害の予防効果が期待される．
