ブドウ球菌感染症

文献概要

　ブドウ球菌は通常の場合は病原性を発揮せず，健康な人の皮膚や粘膜に普通にみられる常在菌として存在している．しかし，黄色ブドウ球菌は一度皮膚バリアを越えると深く侵入して広がることも多く，市中感染症と院内感染症のいずれにおいても皮膚感染症や菌血症の主要な病原菌となっている¹⁾．また，表皮ブドウ球菌は本来病原性の弱い菌であるが，血管内カテーテルなどの医療器具の留置される機会の多い入院患者においては院内感染の病原体として重要な存在である．
