ポイント

●ABPMは，降圧療法において重要な，心血管イベントのハイリスクグループの同定に寄与する．

●近年注目されている仮面高血圧の診断にABPMは有用である．

●血圧の変動性は臓器障害や心血管イベントと関連する．

●夜間血圧が低下しない群や上昇する群では，心血管イベント発症率や死亡率が高い．

●いくつかのタイプの早朝高血圧は，臓器障害の進展および心血管イベントにつながる．
