左室拡大

左室の計測

　左室拡大の指標としては，左室拡張末期径，左室収縮末期径，左室拡張末期容量，左室収縮末期容量が用いられる．正確に計測できることも大切であるが，傍胸骨左縁長軸像が得られたらカーソル上や画面脇に示されているスケールを参考にして，だいたいの左室の大きさを把握することが大切である．左室拡張末期径が5cmを超えているようであれば，左室拡大を疑い，検査を進める．表1，2に左室径，および左室容量の正常値を示した．
