■解剖

　頸動脈検査で対象となるのは，総頸動脈(common carotid artery：CCA)，内頸動脈(internal carotid artery：ICA)，外頸動脈(external carotid artery：ECA)，椎骨動脈の4つである(図1)．

　頸動脈の区分は，①CCA，②大動脈球(bulbus)または頸動脈分岐部(bifurcation：BIF)，③ICA，④ECAに分けられる(図2)
