動脈硬化と性差，ホルモン補充療法の現状と展望

ポイント

●心血管疾患(CVD)の発症頻度には明らかな性差(男性＞女性)がある．

●女性でも閉経後はCVDの発症が増加して男性のレベルに近づく．

●エストロゲンは動脈硬化に対して抑制的に働いている．

●ホルモン補充療法 (HRT)のCVDへの予防効果は現在のところ認められていない．

●HRTの投与時期・投与ルート・投与量の調節によるCVDへの効果が期待される．
