補助療法：肺炎の実験的な補助治療は有効か？―Q. ステロイドやその他の薬剤は有効か？

ポイント

●肺炎患者に対するステロイド治療およびコルチコトロピン刺激試験による副腎不全のスクリーニングはルーティンには推奨されない．

●高用量昇圧薬投与にもかかわらず，低血圧が持続する患者に対しては，敗血症性ショックの発症早期にステロイド治療を開始することは妥当かもしれない．

●肺炎患者に対するIVIG投与やエンドトキシン吸着療法を支持する確固たるエビデンスは，現時点ではない．

●いうまでもなく，呼吸不全患者に対しては，必要に応じて適切な人工呼吸管理(非侵襲的人工呼吸あるいは気管内挿管による人工呼吸)を行う．
