ポイント

●骨粗鬆症の発生率には50歳以上で年間男性2％，女性6％との報告があるが，まだ一定の見解は得られていない．

●2002年の全国調査の結果，大腿骨頸部骨折の発生数は12万人と増加しており，年齢別発生率も依然として増加傾向にある．

●脊椎椎体骨折の10年間の発生率は，70歳台で男性の約1割，女性の約2割であると報告されている．
