ポイント

●コレステロール塞栓症（CCE）の診断のためには，CCEの臨床的特徴をまず理解することが大事である．

●高度の動脈硬化病変を有する高齢者の原因不明の腎障害の鑑別として，CCEの可能性を念頭に置く．

●CCEの誘因となるイベントは，心臓カテーテル検査などの侵襲的検査，心血管系手術，抗凝固療法である．
