ポイント

★植込み型除細動器（ICD）とは，体内に植え込まれ，自動的に致死的頻拍性不整脈を検出し，抗頻拍ペーシングや直流除細動を施行する器械である．

★陳旧性心筋梗塞や心不全症例においては，不整脈の有無にかかわらず，低心機能であることのみを根拠とした予防的ICD植え込みにより予後が改善することが示されている．

★右側胸部誘導のST上昇を認めるBrugada症候群などの特発性心室細動に対して唯一の確実かつ有効な治療はICD植え込みである．
