★高血糖は好中球機能を抑制するため，糖尿病は感染症の増悪因子である．

★どのようなタイプの感染症であっても糖尿病患者の血糖値を上昇させる．

★糖尿病患者の感染症治療では血糖の積極的なコントロールが重要である．

★糖尿病患者では重症化のリスクを想定して当初から積極的に抗菌薬治療を行う．
