★超音波（US）は画像診断の第一選択であり，形態学的に線維化の進展度をスクリーニングすることができる．

★USあるいはMRIベースの非侵襲的肝線維化診断法の進歩により，肝生検に代わりうる検査法としての地位を築きつつある．
