★C型肝炎に合併する肝脂肪化，インスリン抵抗性は，抗ウイルス治療や発癌に影響する因子である．

★C型肝炎では鉄が蓄積しやすく，酸化ストレス増大の一因となっている．

★メタボリックシンドロームは，C型肝炎の病態進行を促進する．
