ポイント

★「発熱があるからとりあえず血培」ではない！ 血液培養の適応は「菌血症または敗血症を疑うとき」．

★菌血症を診断するためには，血液培養は2～3セット採取が必要．複数セットを採取する理由を説明して，周囲を味方につけよう！

★血液培養の量は多いほど検出率が高い！ 一般的には1セットにつき20ml採取が推奨される．
