慢性腎臓病（CKD）―性差の視点から

ポイント

★わが国の末期腎不全発症率，有病率には明らかな性差（男性＞女性）が存在する．特に新規慢性維持透析導入数の男性：女性比はおよそ2：1である．

★CKDステージ3患者における腎不全発症，死亡のリスクはいずれも男性＞女性であり，また高齢者における腎機能低下と死亡の関連性も男性でより強い．

★CKD発症・進展のリスク因子はそのほぼすべてにおいて有する頻度は男性＞女性であり，メンズヘルスの視点から，特に男性のリスク因子への積極的介入が重要である．
