GERDの診断と治療

　胃食道逆流症（gastroesophageal reflux disease：GERD）は食道内に胃内容物が逆流することによって引き起こされる症状，合併症の総称であり，逆流性食道炎（reflux esophagitis：RE），非びらん性胃食道逆流症（non-erosive reflux disease：NERD），Barrett食道（Barrett's esophagus：BE），気管支喘息や慢性咳嗽などの食道外非定型症状など，胃食道逆流に関連するすべての病態を指す^1）．本邦でも急激な患者数の増加が認められており，診断・治療における重要性が高まってきている．本稿では，GERDの診断と治療について最新の知見に基づき概説する．
