慢性ウイルス性肝炎（B型，C型）―その起承転結

　ことには始まり，終わりがあり，すなわち起承転結がある．慢性ウイルス性肝炎の診療の変遷はその例えが当てはまるほど劇的である．本稿では，自身が米国，千葉大学，東京大学，そして故郷山梨で臨床に携わった43年間のエピソードを交えながら，ウイルス発見から治療までの起承転結を述べる．
