ポイント

◎GERDによる慢性咳嗽は近年増加が指摘されており，また咳喘息など他疾患による咳嗽にしばしば合併する．

◎したがって食道症状や会話時，起床時，食事中の咳の悪化，咽喉頭症状の合併などの病歴の特徴をよく理解して，PPIを中心とする治療を考慮する必要がある．

◎GERD症状を合併した喘息患者においてはGERDの治療によって喘息のコントロールが改善する場合がある．

◎COPDにおけるGERDの関与についても増悪を中心に知見が集積されつつある．
