ポイント

◎近年，心臓幹細胞の存在が明らかにされ，心筋細胞などが生理的に再生していることが示された．

◎今世紀初頭より，心血管疾患に対するさまざまな細胞治療が試みられ，有望な結果も得られている．

◎骨髄由来細胞や心臓幹細胞は，有害事象を増加させることなく，心不全を改善させる傾向がみられた．

◎末梢動脈疾患，特にBuerger病（TAO）に対して，骨髄由来細胞の局所投与が奏功している．

◎大規模臨床試験を通じた，心血管疾患に対する細胞治療の安全性・有効性の確立が期待される．
