検査の概要
　前立腺特異抗原（prostate specific antigen：PSA），γ-セミノプロテイン（γ-Sm），前立腺酸性ホスファターゼ（prostatic acid phosphatase：PAP）のいずれも，前立腺癌の腫瘍マーカーとして血清にて測定される．
◆PSA
　Wangらがヒト前立腺組織から精製したserine-proteaseという蛋白分解酵素の一種であり¹⁾，前立腺腺上皮から精漿中に分泌され，精子の運動性に重要である．血中PSAは，主にα1-antichymotrypsin（ACT）と結合した不活性型のPSA-ACTと酵素活性をもつ遊離型PSA（free PSA）より構成され，その和が総PSA濃度（total PSA）である．
