●ESBL産生菌感染症の標準治療薬はカルバペネム系抗菌薬である．
●しかし耐性菌増加の観点から，カルバペネム以外での治療が模索されている．
●大腸菌の尿路感染症という状況であれば，ピペラシリン・タゾバクタム，セフメタゾール，フロモキセフ，ホスホマイシンなどで治療できることがある．
