ポイント
●ビグアナイド薬は肝糖産生抑制，骨格筋糖取り込み促進などにより，血糖降下作用を発揮する．
●ビグアナイド薬は2型糖尿病の初回治療の第一選択薬となりうる．
●用量依存性に血糖降下作用は増強し，肥満の有無にかかわらず有効である．
●適切に使用すれば，乳酸アシドーシスの危険性は低い．
