ポイント
●消化器症状が問題とならない限りは，まずはメトホルミンを1,000〜1,500mgまで増量してから，併用薬を考えるべきである．
●メトホルミンの併用薬の候補は，SU薬，DPP-4阻害薬，SGLT2阻害薬，チアゾリジン薬，αグルコシダーゼ阻害薬である．
●メトホルミンを基軸として治療を開始し，個々人の病態ならびにライフスタイルに合わせ，適切な併用薬を選択することが肝要である．
