ポイント
●高齢発症のてんかんにおける，原因の第1位は脳卒中である．
●脳卒中のなかでは，脳出血のほうが脳梗塞よりもけいれんの合併率が高い．
●早期けいれんのみの症例では，抗てんかん薬の長期投与は通常不要である．
●臨床的にけいれんを示さないてんかん重積状態を見逃してはならない．
