Point
◎禁煙はすべての喫煙者に勧められるべきで，一般に行動療法と薬物療法の組み合わせが勧められる．
◎薬物療法の一次選択は，ニコチン代替治療（ニコチンパッチ，ニコチンガムなど），bupropion，バレニクリンである．これらは一般に，心血管病患者や神経精神疾患を有する患者でも安全に用いられる．ただし，痙攣発作を有する患者にはbupropionは勧められない．
◎禁煙補助薬としての電子タバコ使用を支持する十分なエビデンスは現時点ではない．
