Point
◎検診におけるprostate specific antigen（PSA）スクリーニングの普及により，早期の前立腺がんが多く診断されるようになったが，全年齢における明確なbenefitは確立されておらず，スクリーニングの是非については議論の余地がある．
◎確定診断には前立腺生検を，病期診断には造影CT，MRI，骨シンチグラフィを行い，評価する．
◎治療は再発リスク分類および期待余命を考慮し，前立腺全摘，放射線療法，経過観察から選択することが望ましいが，患者の希望も確認して最適な治療を選択する．
