Point
◎予後を予測する方法として，「医師の経験に基づく主観によるもの」と「客観的な指標に基づくもの」があるが，前者は楽観的に見積もることが多い．
◎客観的な指標として，PaP Score，PPI，PiPS modelsがある．ルーチンではPPIを，より高い精度を求める場合はPiPS modelsを用いるとよい．
◎患者は「知る権利」だけでなく，「知らない権利」ももっている．予後を伝える際は，患者・家族にとって望ましい予後の伝え方を心得ておく．
