Point
◎左室収縮能の評価には左室駆出率（ejection fraction：EF）が用いられるが，左室機能を評価する際にはEFだけでなく左室径を意識することも重要である．
◎左室拡張能の低下や左室充満圧の上昇は単一の指標では評価できないため，複数の指標を用いて総合的に判断される．
◎HFmrEF（heart failure with mid-range EF）は，2016年に提唱された新しい病態区分であり，その臨床的意義についてはさらなる研究が求められている．
◎右室は，左室と異なり複雑な形態をしているため，右心機能の評価法は十分には確立していない．現状では，心尖四腔断面像からの評価法が多く使われている．
◎心エコーにより血行動態を推定し，心不全の病態変化に合わせてくり返し評価を行うことが有用である．
