Point
◎高齢者の体動困難は，症状経過と局所神経症状の有無を軸に鑑別する．
◎感染症は高齢者における体動困難の原因として頻度が高く，高齢者に多い感染症は必ず評価する．
◎そのうえで，疾病以外に高齢者の体動困難につながる原因を探る．なかでも，内服薬や認知機能の確認は必須である．
◎むやみやたらな検査は診療をミスリードする．病歴，身体所見から絞った鑑別疾患に応じて検査を実施する．
