心房期外収縮と心房細動にはどのような関係があるか？

Point
◎心房細動の誘因となる心房期外収縮の多くは肺静脈から発生し，心房細動を有さない症例と比較すると連結期が短い特徴を有する．
◎心房期外収縮数の増加や連発する持続時間により，心房細動の新規発症が年率1.5〜2％程度認められる．
◎CHADS₂ score 2点以上の症例では，心房期外収縮が多いと心房細動の新規発症が年率4％程度まで増加する可能性がある．
