Point
◎ウイルス性髄膜炎の診断の前に，細菌性髄膜炎を必ず否定すべきである．
◎特に免疫不全患者では，髄膜炎から脳炎への移行に注意すべきである．
◎ヘルペス脳炎を少しでも疑う場合は，早期にアシクロビルを投与し，他疾患の鑑別が難しい場合は，抗菌薬，抗真菌薬の併用も検討される．
◎アシクロビル投与時には腎機能低下やアシクロビル脳症に注意する．
