◎臨床医は地域や施設内の緩和ケア資源ができること，できないことを知っておくと利用しやすい．
◎緩和ケアが生活の質や症状を改善していることは，まだ十分証明されていない．
◎緩和ケア病棟は，誰もが望む最期の場所になれていない可能性がある．
◎オピオイド鎮痛薬を増やしても効かないときやせん妄の対処に困ったときは，緩和ケアの専門家に相談するのが良い．
