Point
◎屋内（室内）で曝露する環境アレルゲンにはダニ，ハウスダスト，ペット・飼育動物，真菌，昆虫，浮遊する食物などがある．
◎ダニによるアレルギー疾患としては喘息，アレルギー性鼻炎，アトピー性皮膚炎のほか，食物を汚染したダニによるoral mite allergy syndromeが臨床では重要である．
◎真菌のなかでもA. fumigatusは慢性呼吸器疾患の気道・肺に腐生しやすく，喘息の難治化に関与していることが示されている．
◎ペットとして飼育される有毛動物によるアレルギーは，従来のイヌやネコに加えて，げっ歯類やフェレットによるアレルギーが増加している．
◎技術に限界はあるが，屋内の環境整備により曝露するアレルゲン量を減らすことは，アレルギー疾患の発症予防や症状緩和の観点から重要な行動であると考えられる．
