Point
◎HbA1c値は過去1〜2カ月間の血糖コントロール状態を反映する指標である．
◎ただし急激な血糖値の変動を認める場合や，赤血球寿命が短縮・延長している病態ではHbA1c値は血糖コントロール状態を正確に反映していない可能性がある．
◎HbA1c値が同等であっても血糖の日内変動幅は異なる場合があり，治療に際しては注意が必要である．
