Point
◎BNPは心室へのストレスにより分泌量が増え，心保護作用を発揮する．
◎BNP，NT-proBNPともに心不全の診断，特に除外診断のためのツールとして推奨されている．
◎診断の際には検査前確率を考慮し，BNP，NT-proBNPの値のみで安易に診断することは慎む．
◎肥満，慢性心不全，腎不全，心房細動などBNP，NT-proBNPの値に影響する因子が多数あり，注意する必要がある．
◎「BNPガイド下治療」の有用性は確立されておらず，病歴・身体所見・検査所見と総合的に考える必要がある．
