Point
◎「患者に正しい情報を提供して患者自身に診療方針を選択してもらう」という考え方がIC（インフォームド・コンセント）である．
◎「患者自身の価値観，社会的・家庭的背景，宗教観，信念などの情報，さらには患者の性格，精神状態などをICに反映させて診療方針を患者自身に選択してもらう」という考え方がSDM（shared decision making）である．
◎頭痛診療において，SDMは診療の質や治療効果向上のためにも重要である．
◎適切な問診表，頭痛ダイアリー，治療薬の説明リーフレットや動画などを使用することでSDMの質が向上する．
