☞さまざまな症状や身体所見から電解質異常を想起し，確認することが大切である．
☞電解質異常に潜在する原因，背景となる病態について検討・検索が必要である．
☞低カルシウム血症や低マグネシウム血症でみられるテタニーを確認する身体所見としてはTrousseau signが感度・特異度ともに高い．
