Point
◎骨・関節感染症は病態，感染経路，起因菌が多彩で治療が長期化することから，経験的治療はできる限り避け，積極的に起因菌の特定を行う．高齢化に伴い人工関節感染に対する治療も増加が見込まれる．
◎主に術後や外傷などによる直接進達性感染と菌血症などの血行性感染に大別される．
◎血行性感染による急性化膿性関節炎・骨髄炎をみたら感染性心内膜炎の有無を確認する．
