Point
◎包括的な管理として，①血行動態の安定化を図り，②併存疾患および食生活習慣の改善を指導し，③脳梗塞リスクに応じた抗凝固療法を行う．そのうえで，④症状の改善を目指して，リズムコントロールもしくはレートコントロールを行う．
◎近年，リズムコントロールの有用性が見直されてきており，特に発症早期の心房細動患者に対しては，症状および予後改善のためにリズムコントロール療法を考慮すべきである．
◎治療方針は個々の患者の状態によって異なるため，患者・家族との十分な相談のうえで最適な治療方法を選択する必要がある．
