心房細動患者の死因

Point
◎心房細動患者における死因として，心血管死〔cardiovascular（CV）death〕のなかで最も頻度が高いのは心不全であり，全死亡の15％前後の割合を占めていた．
◎脳梗塞，脳出血などの頭蓋内疾患が死因として全死亡に占める割合は6〜8％のみであったが，一方で脳卒中既往があれば，その後の死亡イベントリスクは増加していた．
◎日本の実臨床データでは，臨床試験とは異なり，悪性腫瘍や感染などの非心血管死（non-CV death）が死因として半分以上を占めていた．
◎抗凝固療法，リズムコントロールで心房細動をケアしているだけでは十分ではなく，ますます高齢化し，多様化する心房細動患者においては，専門領域の垣根を超えたtailor-made approachが必要な時代になってきていると言える．
