Point
◎プロカルシトニン（PCT）は慢性腎臓病患者では上昇し，蜂窩織炎などの局所感染症では上昇しない場合もある．
◎PCT測定により，成人の下気道感染症の抗菌薬処方量を削減できるかもしれない．
◎PCTを敗血症診断に用いる際には，その他の所見や状況を加味して方針を決定する必要がある．
