現病歴　40代から健康診断で脂質異常を指摘されていたがそのままにしていた．6カ月前の健康診断でLDL 192 mg/dL，トリグリセリド360 mg/dLの脂質異常とともに，これまで指摘されたことがないHbA1c 7.0％も指摘されたため，他院を受診した．食事指導を受けて間食をやめ，生活改善に取り組んでいた．1週間前に友人が脳梗塞で入院したことを受け，妻から将来の病気が心配なため内服治療を受けるように強く勧められ，脂質異常症と糖尿病の治療を希望して来院した．
