経鼻胃管（NGT）—入らなくてもう1時間…また口から出てきた！

Point
◎経鼻胃管（NGT）挿入はごく一般的な手技だが，合併症を避けるために手技の工夫を行いつつ，安全に実施する必要がある．
◎患者の体位を調整し，修正/補助手技を活用することで，患者の負担軽減や挿入成功率の上昇，合併症の軽減を図ることができる．
◎合併症としては，鼻/咽頭部の出血・コイリング・位置不良が多く，気管や肺への誤挿入に注意が必要である．
◎ブラインドでの挿入後のNGT位置および先端部の確認は，X線検査にて実施する．
◎NGT位置確認としてのエコーの活用は，患者への侵襲度やさまざまな場面への汎用性の観点から，今後必須の手技と言える．
