Point
◎閉塞性睡眠時無呼吸症候群（OSAS）の診療は，公的医療保険の規定にしたがい，診療ガイドラインに準ずる．
◎診断は，家族歴や現病歴を詳細に取得する．身体所見や既往歴も考慮し，簡易検査や終夜睡眠ポリグラフ検査（PSG）を実施する．
◎各種の精神・身体疾患，特に甲状腺機能や咽喉頭占拠性病変にも注意する．
◎治療方針は生活指導から持続陽圧呼吸療法（CPAP）や口腔歯科装具（OA），手術などを検討する．治療効果の継続的なモニタリングが重要である．
