　本連載では，リウマチ・膠原病診療における緊急病態，知っておかないとヤバい状態となりうる事象について取り扱う．これまで関節リウマチ治療中のヤバい病態としてさまざまなこと（血球減少，間質性肺炎，頸椎病変，単関節炎など）を取り扱ってきた．
　今後も出合う頻度の高い関節リウマチ関連の話題は扱っていくが，今回はプライマリ・ケアの現場や非専門医の診察室から専門医のもとまで“全速力で”たどりついてほしい疾患「抗MDA5抗体陽性皮膚筋炎」を取り上げる．
