◎頸動脈内膜中膜複合体厚(IMT)の肥厚は動脈硬化危険因子と関連し,脳・心血管イベントの予測因子である.
◎冠動脈石灰化は粥状硬化総量と相関があり,石灰化スコアは心血管イベントとの相関が報告されている.
◎頸動脈IMT,石灰化スコアともに,一次予防におけるリスク層別化の一環として評価することに対するエビデンスは十分ではない.
