◎黄砂やPM2.5といった大気汚染物質は,動脈硬化性疾患発症のトリガーになる可能性がある.
◎その機序は,大気汚染物質によって生じた酸化ストレスや炎症が全身に波及するためと考えられている.
◎大気汚染曝露を避けるという早期介入が,一生にわたる動脈硬化のリスクを低減させるうえできわめて重要になる.
