Ⅰ．はじめに

　頸動脈ステント留置術（carotid artery stenting :CAS）では，親カテーテルを病変の近位部で保持する必要がある．安定した親カテーテルの保持が困難な症例では，上腕動脈経由のgoose neck snareにて良好な位置に親カテーテルを保持する方法が有用である．
