（8）Dandy-Walker症候群

Ⅰ．はじめに

　Dandy-Walker症候群は，医学部在籍時代から名前を認識していた記憶がある．最近の学生が愛用するyearnoteといういわゆる「まとめ本」にも，Dandy-Walker症候群は「第四脳室の囊胞状拡大と小脳虫部の低形成を呈した先天奇形をいう」と記載され，水頭症，脊髄髄膜瘤とともに中枢神経に発生する先天奇形の代表格の1つとして扱われている⁵⁸⁾．しかし実際，日常診療を行っている中でDandy-Walker症候群に遭遇する機会は非常に少ない．本稿では，有名ではあるにもかかわらず診療する機会の少ないこの病態に関してまとめてみたい．
