Ⅰ．はじめに

　脳血管内治療の治療成績はデバイスに依存する部分が大きく，本邦では1997年にGuglielmi detachable coil（GDC, Stryker）が導入され爆発的に普及した．しかし，本邦では，欧米のみならずアジア諸国よりも新規デバイスの審査に大幅な時間を要し，いわゆる“device lag”に悩まされてきた．近年，少しずつではあるが，医薬品医療機器総合機構（PMDA）の審査は迅速化しつつあり，特にこの3年間は新規デバイスの承認が相次いだ．

　本稿では，過去3年間に承認された新規デバイスの中で，特に治療戦略を大きく変化させた4つのデバイスを中心にreviewし，将来的に導入されるであろう最新デバイスについても触れたい．
